St. Boniface Altar Society was established many years ago to help in caring for the altar and church. All of the women of the parish are included in this group and are invited to play an active role. The ladies of the Altar Society serve funeral dinners, wedding dinners when requested, clean the church, and prepare and serve our annual fall bazaar.
Every year the Altar Society raffles a quilt at the annual bazaar. It is either made by an individual or small group from the Altar Society. The first quilt was a simple 9 patch quilt in honor of the 200th anniversary of the United States of America in 1976. It was made and hand quilted by members of the Altar Society. The great success of this quilt prompted the members to begin making quilts annually.
The Altar Society has four officers who each serve a two year term and are also members of the parish council.
The Officers for 2023 are Jennifer Bunnel: President, Kristy Mader: Vice-President, Paige Scheckel: Secretary, and Georgia Miller: Treasurer.
