As of this morning, Saturday, November 2nd, the heating system in St. Boniface Church is not yet functioning. I am posting this so that you may come prepared for a possibly chilly church. Please bring a jacket or sweater for your own comfort during Mass tomorrow.

Also, the Carmelites, and Fr. Dave and I in particular, have experienced a great loss this morning with the news of the sudden death of Fr. Michael Sgarioto, O. Carm. (56). I have known Fr. Mike since he was in high school, and he was one of Fr. David's novices. Fr. David will be going to Chicago for the funeral, and this will mean canceling the 8:30 AM Mass this Friday, November 8th, at St. Boniface. My plan is to still return to Kansas by the end of the day on Friday, November 8th. Thank you for your understanding with all of this, and please keep Fr. Mike, his Mother, Mary Sgarioto, and his siblings and family in your prayer. May he rest in eternal peace!
